Update on the National ASN Review
We have received a response from the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills following the Assembly's recent letter on parental and carer involvement in the National ASN review.
The Cabinet Secretary confirmed that the review is taking a light-touch approach, drawing on existing evidence, with a National Engagement Event planned for March. Assembly ASL reports and our Call to Action will be shared with the review team.
While this initial phase is moving quickly, we have positioned the Assembly as a trusted partner both now and as the review moves into the next phase of policy development and implementation.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who shared their views and helped shape our communication.
